Starting you off

To start you off there a three type of ninjas taijustu, weapon and  ninjustu the fighting mechanics work like rock, paper, scissors  in the sense that  rock(taijustu)  beats  scissors (weapon), scissors beats paper (ninjustu) and paper beats rock. Though with this in mind that doesn’t mean a weapon user cannot defeat a taijustu user it’s just they have an advantage.

The life on a ninja

At the start you are able to pick a single ninja from 4-5 different ninjas , the ninja you pick, will be the Kage of the village you create, being a kage doesn’t just mean you can fight, fight, fight though a lot of it is, you have to build, expand  and earn ryo(money) to create more buildings which again earns you more ryo. From this money you are able to buy equipment, stronger ninjas, scrools and also boosts to raise your attack and defence.

Out on the battlefield

The matches you do can either by against your friends or against the computer when playing the story line. The battle goes in a turn base system where you will go first moving your characters to ether get ready to attack or to attack straight away, after you have moved or attacked with all characters it is then your enemies turn to fight back, this goes on till yours or your enemies side has lost there ninjas, some may fine this boring and just want to carry on you are able to skip battles so the computers has done it, it’s self though for a price as some ryo will be taken as compensation.

What is Skyrim

Skyrim is a RPG that is based on a fairy tale world ans it takes place in Skyrim 200 years after the Oblivion Crisis. A newly revealed language, the "tongue of the dragons", plays an integral role in the story.

The ancient home of the Nords, Skyrim, teeters at the brink of destruction. With the death of High King Torygg, the flood gates of civil war break loose, and brothers are slaying brothers across the frozen tundras and rocky crags. Many Nords wish to free themselves of the Empire’s grasp, which has been in decline since the Oblivion Crisis 200 years previous. Many others want to grasp upon the unity and safety offered by the Empire.

In the game you get to create your very own character such as a wood elf, a dark elf, a Nord , a red guard etc. The story line behind the game is that you are a mythical being called the dragon born and the reason of the aim is to kill a dragon called alduin.

There is a lot to do in skyrim due to the vast number of side quests Bethesda have involved into the game not including the new DLC that they have added over the games release in 2011. The first DLC is called dawn guard which is a group of professional vampire hunters recruiting people for the war against their enemy but also along the story line you will have the chance to become a vampire all go you could without the DLC this breed is weaker than the DLC breed of vampire. The second and most recent of DLC is called hearth fire that lets you buy your own land in given areas and build your own house and make it fit your needs.

Within Skyrim you can go on side quests, battle monsters, kill dragons, make money, pick locks, do magic and much  much more. You get to make your own destiny.

Will you be a hero and  kill the dragon alduim or will you cheat and steal your way to the top. The choice is up to you.

XCOM enemy unknown

 What is XCOM? 

XCOM enemy unknown is a tactical and strategically game that allows you to take command of a special organisation that has been put into place by the group of nations called the council. This organisation pays you monthly to find and eliminate any and all alien threats.

The game starts you off with the strategy side of things by giving you command of a squad of five soldiers all from different countries to respond to the current alien activity that has happened and this is the tutorial mission and the first time you as a player will fight the aliens.

The tactical side of the game comes in between every mission by your base you have to choose were to put your base of operations out of the given countries and all countries give a unique special ability that the other does not have. After you have picked your starting location you enter the base that has a research bay and engineering bay, a barracks and a situation room where you can manage the world satellites which have been destroyed and it is up to you to rebuild the satellites and place them over the countries with the biggest panic to keep their leaders in the council. If you manage to cover a nation with satellites you are given that nations special ability and every section of the covered nation pays you monthly as well.

In the research station you have scientists that research anything you tell them to that is given to you at the time. There is a lot to research, if you keep on the research you can build lasers an even plasma weaponry for your troops to use in the strategy side of the game as well as armour for them to wear.

The engineering bay allows you to build satellites that allow you to make countries panic less and it also lets you build anything you have researched in the research station like body armour and weaponry. It also lets you build other stations that you can add to the base that you will need.

In the barracks you can buy and keep your soldiers that you have, this is where you can assign abilities to your soldiers who have ranked up and also give them new armour and weapons you have made for them. Also in the barracks there is the training school that allows you to buy more spots for you to take more men out on missions than normal, it also lets you buy more cool things like stronger will for your soldiers.

The soldiers themselves are separated into the following.

Assault

The assault soldier is the frontline soldier who is always in the heart of combat he is armed with a shotgun or assault rifle and a pistol. Every kind of soldier has a pistol but they can only have a certain primary weapon.

Heavy

The heavy soldier is the soldier that has the biggest gun and is your demolition expert who has a rocket launcher instead of a pistol. The heavy soldier is the second biggest hitter of the troops but they are good at getting you out of a tight situation.

Support

The support also has a really big gun but they do not have a rocket launcher instead they have a pistol, but if they rank up enough advances they get a smoke grenade that allows them to better cover the ally’s and they are also better at being the first aiders of the group.

Sniper

The sniper is the best soldier in my opinion because they hardly ever miss a shot and they are the best hitters. This is because they have a critical shot that can kill almost anything; they can also get upgrades to make them even more accurate than normal.

Call Of Duty Black Ops 2

The campaign

The campaign takes place in 2025 and  is about David Mason the son of Alex Mason from the previous black ops game. The campaign takes place in a wide range of places around the world like Pakistan. The campaign starts off with a cinematic showing Frank Woods another character from black ops as an old man talking with David Mason about his father and a terrorist known as Raul Menendez and how David’s dad Alex was involved. During the questioning about Raul Menendez you learn about past missions, doing so you play as Alex Mason, during the 1970′s & 80′s. The campaign transitions between timelines easily, allowing you to follow the story without confusion. Our Gamer feels that in favor of the campaign was that you choose your own ending. There are five total endings depending on the actions you choose and how well you did during the Strike Force missions

The zombies

The zombies game mode has 3 game modes known as transit were you and a friend if playing offline or 3 friends if playing online can travel around different places finding out hidden clues along the way.Tranzit is the game type that loops in Zombies mode’s open world, connecting a few destinations together via a dangerous bus journey. Tranzit is, without a doubt, the most ambitious of the Zombies offerings.

The survival game mode is the opposite were you and friends have a set area and fight as many zombies as possible till all the players die.

 The last game mode is called grief were 2 teams of 4 can fight with or against each other while there are zombies attacking them.’. Players can’t freely kill one another, but instead must use the environment and zombies to their advantage to lure opposing players into traps to dispose of them. It’s a game type that involves some strategy to come out on top, and above all else, Grief is just a fun experience to be had with a bunch of friends.

The multiplayer

The multiplayer of Black Ops 2 is really good fun it has a vast amount of game modes to play there is the core for the normal people and the beginners of the game with every type of game type from team death match to free for all.

You can also  play on hardcore which are for the guys who are really good but have a few less game types.

There is also combat training that you can fight bots on (artificial intelligence) or there is party games that has a fun set of game types you can play alone or with your friends. The multiplayer also has a very good selection of guns that are unfairly locked by levels and also you have to buy  them with tokens you get after every level up.        

Black Ops 2  introduces the Pick 1” system, which allows you to equip whatever the hell you want as long as you stay below your ten points allowed. Would you rather give up using a secondary weapon to instead equip a few extra attachments to your primary? Done. Want to give up that secondary grenade type in favor of another perk? You can do that, too. The new loadout system in Black Ops 2 is truly a breath of fresh air that allows for infinite freedom when it comes to choice.

However in mulitplayer killstreaks have been replaced with Scorestreaks. Killing enemies, capturing points and completing objectives earn you points, which go towards unlocking and using one of your three equipped Scoresteaks. They range from UAVs, to drone attacks to care packages and a lot in between. However, if you’re killed, your Scorestreak resets to zero, meaning you have to be much more cautious running around the map in order to not get killed and lose those precious points.

Aion

Aion can be played on the laptop


In Aion there are two possible side that you can play as the Asmodians and the Elyos, inhabit the two halves of the shattered world of Atreia, along with a third nonplayable faction (the Balaur).  These factions battle to establish control over Atreia.

so once you pick a side you get to chosse your class now their are four possible classes:

Warrior

 the warrior class is all about brute strength, when you see your target you charge into battle with you sword. Now once you reach level ten  your character must select a subclass. Now the subclasses for the warrior are

Gladiator

Gladiators live and die by the sword. They are skilled in a variety of weapons, and can master a mixture of fighting techniques tailored to the characteristics of their weapons. or

Templar

Templars act as guardians, defending while wielding a sword in one hand and a shield in the other. Templars can use chants and incantations to protect and heal themselves and allies, but they serve most often as frontline fighters.

The next class you can pick is

Scout

Now the scout are for the people who want to fight but want to being cunning and sneaky, the scout at level 10 gives you the choice of

Ranger

Rangers are skilled archers. They can also use melee weapons, such as swords and daggers. They are adept at observing their surroundings and optimizing their tactics for terrain. Rangers can survive in the harshest of environments. Or

Assassins

Assassins are experts in stealth and quick, brutal attacks. They are adept at hiding in the shadows, picking their targets carefully, and then crippling their opponents with little warning. Both subclass are good for adepting to the situation.

The next class is

Priest

priest are all about healing and helping there team mates out. If you pick the priest you should know there not all about fighting , although they do have magic powers to help them kill their opponents there more based on healing and sheilding their team mates from danger. I suggest if you pick a priest make sure you get in a team. At level 10 you have a choice of

Cleric

Clerics use the power of magic to strengthen their allies, heal their wounds, and resurrect them when they are defeated. Do not think Clerics are delicate, though. Their chain armor, mace, and shield allow them great durability. Or

Chanter

Chanters manifest their faith outward, infusing it into their allies. Though they can heal and use a staff in battle, their primary ability is to instill fierce discipline to strengthen allies and raise morale through their mantras.

Mage

mages are all about casting powerful spells to destroy their opponents or to help their team mates. Now if you pick to become a mage you don't have to join a team like i suggest with the priest as you will be capable of doing the missions on you own. Although i do suggest buying lost of health potion as you don't have alot of health to start off with. The two subclass are

Sorcerer

Sorcerers have mastered the elements of water, fire, air, earth, and their most powerful ally, Aether. A Sorcerer’s spell diversity and magical firepower have single-handedly turned the tide of countless battles.

Or

Spiritmaster

Spiritmasters use the power of their elemental spirits to strike fear into the hearts of their enemies. They can summon powerful pets, each of which offer different offensive and tactical advantages to a battle.Now as i found out when playing this game and after picking spiritmaster that is one of the hardest class to do but also one of the most strongest, if you become a powerful spiritmaster that make pets out of the elements then most people won't mess with you, some will try but if your smart enough and strong enough you can beat them.

Aion is a game where you can buy weponds and potions and may more thing adopt and hatch pets goon quest, battle mosters or other plays, fly, learn new skills and much more and you can do this on your own or with your very own guild. I recommed playing this game its alot of fun and enjoyable.

Dark Messiah Might and Magic Elements

What is Dark messiah?

Dark Messiah Might and Magic Elements is an old game first released on October 25, 2006 so the quality wasn’t high definition like we usually see despite this I feel given at the time this is quite a good game and was fun to play.

Story

Without giving anything too much away from the storyline line and it’s deeper plot I’ll tell you basics of what it entail’s, first off is that you are an apprentice working under a high mage which has sent you on a quest to get a magical stone, at which returning to your master he sends you on a journey to meet a friend of his who needs help. After the journey to the person an event happens leading you to chase a being down which turmoil’s into finding out what it is you actually have collected, who you really are.

Characters and choices

In this game at first start you can choose ether to be a warrior (melee), mage (magic) or archer (bow and arrow) each with different characteristics . Tom's  favourite being the melee as you run into the enemy and using the environment e.g. hitting a weak standing board releases the objects that was being held by it onto your enemies . Though you’re not the only character there are two people one at which can be at the end on your journey or neither if you choose to do so.

The choices you make decides the end sequence that you will get, when finding out who you are you can be good or evil, evil having an internal effect on your character and what you can do as good leaves external being a sword that only the good can wield.

Multiplayer

Because of the game being old I have been unable to find a game however I am able to tell you the characters you are able to use as well as the game modes you are able to play.

First are the teams where you can be human or un-dead though the characters still have the same abilities. The characters, like the story you can be a warrior, mage and archer however on multiplayer you can also be a priestess whom protects there team mates and small spell to attack the enemy.

The game modes are Crusade, Blitz, and death match and last but not least team death match.

Crusade-This is where there are three flags one in your base and one in the enemy’s base with the last being in the middle of the two, the objective of the game is to hold the middle point to slowly lower the points of your enemy or you are able to go straight to the enemies base where if held enough is able to capture and practically win the match. This is on a small to medium map.

Blitz-is where each player only has one life there are two ways to win this game type by either destroying your enemies or to capture their base, being whichever comes first. This is on a medium to large map.

Death match-This is a free-for-all game type everyone is your enemy and no one is your ally kill or be killed the first to the top score wins. This is one a medium to large map.

Team death match- More or less the same as death match this time you work as a team with your ally’s to get to the top score before your enemy does. Medium to large map.

MineCraft

Minecraft is a game that originally started on the pc and was later introduced onto the Xbox 360. The game is all about people using their imagination to build anything they want. The arcade game is very fun and enjoyable for the whole family and is more than one player if the user has a HD TV. The game generates a world for the user at random and it is up to the player on how to build a house and gather materials to use in the process.

 When you first start the game, you start in a world with nothing at all probably about mid-day. Your absolute first goal is to have a shelter when nightfall comes. At night, hostile mobs spawn above ground so you need a place to be protected from them. Have a spawn restriction of a certain light level meaning during the day they can only spawn underground where it’s a certain darkness. But at night, anywhere that isn't very well lit up by torches or other light sources (lava, glow stone) is subject for them to spawn. You can mine anything such as trees or water to get supplies to build things If you're lucky, you'll be able to get the supplies to make a bed which advances time to morning and most of the creatures that spawn on the surface are burned by the sun, except creepers, spiders, and a few others.

Most people decide to build castle and other cool things but while these people are building their cool structures and others things, they have to go underground to get supplies while defending themselves from mobs that spawn underground

However the more apparent goal of each world is to go to "The End" and kill the Ender Dragon. To do this, you need to kill endermen from the regular world and blazemen from the Nether. Then using the items they both drop, create another item that allows you to find a stronghold that you fight through to get to the End portal. Then you have to use the item that leads you to the stronghold to fix the portal.

Once in the End the only way to escape is to kill the ender dragon of if you die you will be respawned in the regular world. Killing the dragon opens a portal that takes you to a strange conversation with some kind of person who has been watching you the whole time and the credits.

 The game is currently selling at the price of 1200 Microsoft points £17.19 Mine craft supports all age ranges even a 20 year old man or woman can play this game but it is best played by younger age groups because it will show them on how to be organized how to use their imagination and so much more. The game does have a little violence but overall it is a good game best played 2 or more players. However if you don’t wish to fight any monsters and just want to go crazy and build cool things there is a mode which you can select.

Tips

Here are a few helpful tips

1)      If you are on a mode with monster make sure you have shelter to protected yourself from the creatures

2)      Don’t like fighting then go on creative mode where there are no monsters

3)      Minecraft is a fun game so have some fun with your friends building castle ect

4)      When battling monsters make sure you have enough food to heal yourself with, you can get food by killing pigs and cows

5)      Most importantly have fun mine craft is all about using your imagination.
