The campaign

The campaign takes place in 2025 and  is about David Mason the son of Alex Mason from the previous black ops game. The campaign takes place in a wide range of places around the world like Pakistan. The campaign starts off with a cinematic showing Frank Woods another character from black ops as an old man talking with David Mason about his father and a terrorist known as Raul Menendez and how David’s dad Alex was involved. During the questioning about Raul Menendez you learn about past missions, doing so you play as Alex Mason, during the 1970′s & 80′s. The campaign transitions between timelines easily, allowing you to follow the story without confusion. Our Gamer feels that in favor of the campaign was that you choose your own ending. There are five total endings depending on the actions you choose and how well you did during the Strike Force missions

The zombies

The zombies game mode has 3 game modes known as transit were you and a friend if playing offline or 3 friends if playing online can travel around different places finding out hidden clues along the way.Tranzit is the game type that loops in Zombies mode’s open world, connecting a few destinations together via a dangerous bus journey. Tranzit is, without a doubt, the most ambitious of the Zombies offerings.

The survival game mode is the opposite were you and friends have a set area and fight as many zombies as possible till all the players die.

 The last game mode is called grief were 2 teams of 4 can fight with or against each other while there are zombies attacking them.’. Players can’t freely kill one another, but instead must use the environment and zombies to their advantage to lure opposing players into traps to dispose of them. It’s a game type that involves some strategy to come out on top, and above all else, Grief is just a fun experience to be had with a bunch of friends.

The multiplayer

The multiplayer of Black Ops 2 is really good fun it has a vast amount of game modes to play there is the core for the normal people and the beginners of the game with every type of game type from team death match to free for all.

You can also  play on hardcore which are for the guys who are really good but have a few less game types.

There is also combat training that you can fight bots on (artificial intelligence) or there is party games that has a fun set of game types you can play alone or with your friends. The multiplayer also has a very good selection of guns that are unfairly locked by levels and also you have to buy  them with tokens you get after every level up.        

Black Ops 2  introduces the Pick 1” system, which allows you to equip whatever the hell you want as long as you stay below your ten points allowed. Would you rather give up using a secondary weapon to instead equip a few extra attachments to your primary? Done. Want to give up that secondary grenade type in favor of another perk? You can do that, too. The new loadout system in Black Ops 2 is truly a breath of fresh air that allows for infinite freedom when it comes to choice.

However in mulitplayer killstreaks have been replaced with Scorestreaks. Killing enemies, capturing points and completing objectives earn you points, which go towards unlocking and using one of your three equipped Scoresteaks. They range from UAVs, to drone attacks to care packages and a lot in between. However, if you’re killed, your Scorestreak resets to zero, meaning you have to be much more cautious running around the map in order to not get killed and lose those precious points.
